Gratitude

So make the most of it
Dont fall and quit
On your heart
The moment it tears apart
Loss is coming and it’s going to pack a punch
Death is around the corner, this isn’t just a hunch
Wake up – Now is the time to wake up!
Emotions are coming and you need to be strong
Enough to embrace them
Enough to move on
But never forgetting
That the dead live on
So long as you remember
To continue their song

Cause in life we are a combination of these two things
A self that experiences and a self that thinks
We are the sum of our total experiences
With a capacity of our human awareness
When the time comes when we pass this
The only loss is the continuous additiveness
To our own take on lifes experiences

Storing shared moments
Of a fleeting bliss
Sprinkled with bits of painfulness
Yet look at all the togetherness
Envision the people that led to this
See this world as a communal wish
To grasp this ideal of happiness
From them a lesson not to miss
That in the end,
Gratitude is the answer to anguish

Mindful Thinking

Don’t you see?
An understood mind is a fallacy
It’s a joke in the face of reality
‘Cause no ones wrote a truth that all can see
We all see the world differently
Perspectives and mindsets differing
So where we come together it’s where it’s the same
Love is the link that breaks the chain
And replaces it with change
Capable of saving ourselves
Building a better world
Instead of creating our hells
So let’s ring the bells
This a call to action
There’s a reason love sells

Stability

The universe isn’t out to get me
Its there waiting for a bit more understanding
To know we can’t understand it
And how we often take for granted
The laws of physics in a continuous
Chain reaction of amibiguous
Call to action
Imagine happiness, try to max it
Find a bliss and hope it lasts this
Last time cause I cant go back
To hanging on a single vine
Like a life line holding back
A catapult
Cause once I say its all my fault
I shoot off into a one man cult
Where im trapped inside my painful thoughts
That make it harder for me to open up
Repressin a desire to express whats up
But im free now
cause I see how
I dont need doubt
If I let it out
I have friends proud
So I say it loud
I have found now
Solid ground
Got my feet down

Summer of Dreams

This is the Summer
When dreams come to life
No longer in slumber
They won’t stay in my night
For I have a hunger
To inspire my self
Along with others
To change this world and bring the focus back to love
With my hands and my heart
This blessing of time is more than enough.

Finding Happiness

Although the dawn will always come after the night,
a brighter day will not shine when sitting idly by.
In this life my goal has become to find happiness,
I found the journey and discovery to each have their own bliss.
With each moment that passes we are presented with a choice,
we can choose to nurture our pain, or fill our glasses and rejoice!
Soon enough, that moment too shall pass,
and the time will come again,
to decide your own path.

Inspiration Rhyme #1

Burst of pure inspiration, a new sense of what I’m facing
‘Cus I’m tired of the apathy, just sick of being complacent
I create the path for me, I control my destiny
to shine light on my life and all those who surround me
to recover lost dreams and forgot the impossibility
open your mind to your heart, and see all the reality
that the only thing stopping you from achieving
is when looking at the big picture, logic trumps believing
but dreams aren’t meant to be won in a day
so when you see em, they always feel so far away
you gotta break it down and see what can get done
while always working hard, never forget the fun
